Washing and care

Spot clean, or hand wash in cold water (up to 30 °C) with a mild detergent, and dry flat. That keeps the yarn letters soft and raised.

Washing

Empty the bag and shake out crumbs and sand first.
Clean small marks with a damp cloth and a little mild soap.
For a full wash, hand wash in cold water, up to 30 °C, with a mild detergent.
Don’t rub or wring the yarn letters: press the water out gently.

Drying

Dry flat, away from radiators and direct sun.
While it’s damp, shape the letters with your fingers so they stand up again.
No tumble dryer.

Never

No bleach.
Don’t iron the yarn letters.
Don’t soak woven straw bags: clean them with a damp cloth only.
